And sometimes she forgets about her blog......

Oh it's you! Yes, I am updating my blog for the first time in ages. I will post pictures of recent events when I can figure out blogger's new layout, but right now it's just throwing me off. 

A summary of things I will post: I went to girls choice in February(yes I know that was a long time ago), I went to France for a month with mis padres, my dear Kara graduated from BYU, and I will also post pictures from when I went to prom.

My New Year's Goals

I always thought New Year's resolutions were kind of lame because a lot of people tend to forget about them after a short time. But I want to set goals and fulfill them this year(since the world's gonna end, right?).

Spiritual:

• Become closer to my Savior
• Develop a regular pattern of prayer and scripture study
• Complete my Personal Progress and earn my Young Women Recognition
• Read The Book of Mormon in Spanish

Physical:

• Jog 1 mile in 7 minutes and 30 seconds
• Run for a charity or foundation
• Observe strictly the Word of Wisdom

Educational:

• Excel in school
• Understand SOMETHING that is taught in my biology class
• Graduate a year early - 2013

Whatever-al:

• Manage my time with a planner
• Learn to drive a stick-shift
• Read the Lord of the Rings(do I dare?)
• Hike Mount Timpanogos <--I don't think I spelled that right
• Learn to tell the Beatles from the Beach Boys and the Red Hot Chili Peppers(Kara this'd better make you proud)

I know more will climb onto my list of goals, but this is where I'll start. HAPPY 2012!!

I never had a Pinterest account until about five seconds ago, but I'm already addicted. Thanks a lot Kara.... I love looking at all the crafty home decor ideas and it makes me want to redo my room so badly. Maybe I will!!

First Date

This past Saturday was my school's Winter Formal. You could call it our homecoming dance. This dance is the first date dance that has come around since I turned sixteen. And I got asked!! I went with my friend Josh and had a blast! For our day date, we went with a group of friends to see a movie. Then we went to Cafe Rio. Yum!! When he came to pick me up he brought me a corsage and it smelled soooo good! The dance was super fun and my first date couldn't have been better.

A Computer Technology Assignment

Today for a computer technology assignment, we are supposed to create a blog or website, and on that blog or website, the purpose is to uplift others with this blog or website, Lucky for me, I already have my own personal blog. The purpose of our blog or website is to promote uplifting thoughts. So, my goal for my future blog posts (when I do post) is to promote uplifting thoughts!
